BIOGRAPHY: Samuel Johnson was born and grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, but came to North Carolina to attend Davidson College. He fell in love with North Carolina and although his career has repeatedly carried him away from the Old North State, he is delighted to have now returned and to be making his home in Greensboro. { MORE }
FAMILY LAW: Samuel Johnson's approach to family law, which makes up a significant part of his practice, is to work toward negotiated agreements and reasonable compromises. { MORE }

DEAFNESS ISSUES: Samuel
Johnson is hearing, but he taught mathematics at Gallaudet College for six
years. He did not grow up signing,
but he now signs comfortably and fluently.
LANGUAGES: Samuel Johnson has had since childhood an interest in studying foreign languages. He has had the good fortune to be able to visit, live, and study abroad in numerous foreign countries, including Germany, China, Japan, Russia, Syria, France, Greece, Spain and Nicaragua. { MORE }
SCUBA: Samuel Johnson was first certified as a diver in North Carolina, and his first ocean dive was a wreck dive off the North Carolina coast. Since then he has logged some 350 dives and has his advanced open water certification. { MORE }
