 J'ai appris le français à Tours en France.  Plus récemment, j'ai eu l'occasion de l'utiliser lors de mes visites chez des amis au Québec.  Je pratique aussi le français en lisant les livres d'Harry Potter.

    Samuel Johnson first began learning French when he was living in Europe and studying at a German University.  He has had the opportunity for several extended stays in France, including a long vacation in Tours in the valley of the Loire, a region where the French is supposed to be particularly pure.  He also uses his French when he visits his friends in Québec, a region which the European French, at least, would not characterize as speaking French with particular purity but where the people are delightful.
